Coping

I am brand new and have no questions yet. I'm having difficulty right now and don't think my Nurse Practitioner knows or cares much about what's going on. I think it's time to have a serious talk with her. She says I'm in stage 3a, but frankly I wonder. I'm in a lot of intermittent pain and am having trouble urinating for 2 or 3 days. Fluid pills don't seem to be working right now. I have visitors coming in a few days and don't know if I can take care of them. I am in my 80s.
