  1. What does it feel like does it make you feel very sick does it make you feel dizzy weak

    1. Hello , Those are excellent questions. Most people don't have any symptoms. They usually find out by just going to the doctor for a routine check-up or by accident. I know for me, it was during a yearly checkup. We are all different of course, and some people might have symptoms. I know with my son he was having a lot of swelling, but no other symptoms. My father is stage 4 and feels great, but again, we are all different.

It's best to see a doctor to see what is going on. How are you doing? We would like to hear from you. Diane (Team Member)

      1. that’s exactly what happened to me but it was there for 7 years in my lab work. None of my doctors told me. I guess they don’t read your labs so why draw them.

      2. Hello , I agree with you. This is why we have to be our own best advocates. I didn't even know we could have access to our medical files until a few years ago. 1. HI , thank you for your question. It is very frustrating! Have you had a chance to ask your doctor about this yet? Everyone's experiences are different, but I hope some may chime in to share their experiences with you as well. Some people can be particularly sensitive to certain things. For example, Claire wrote about how her eGFR fluctuated based on her hydration: You might be interested in this article: I hope you might get some more answers soon. Warmly, Minel (Team Member)
