I know that physicians generally are not too positive on alternative treatment methods but they can, at least, give you an overview of the dangers it might pose. That's a tricky one, especially because if you are going for dialysis it doesn't leave a lot of options. We do have an article about the pros and cons of home dialysis, but, as always, that's something you will definitely have to check with your physician about if you are interested in that. If you really do not feel comfortable with a center, though, it could be worth the discussion.
