how can I better my creatinine level - what can I do - what can I eat or avoid?

  1. Hey . Great question! Keeping your creatinine levels low is definitely important when living with CKD. There are several factors that can affect this, but two that are easy to keep in mind are diet and exercise. Eating less meat and moving your body reduces the amount of creatinine for your kidneys to process, which helps to increase your eGFR. There are several other suggestions in this article, which I think you'll find helpful! https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/clinical/fluctuations-in-egfr. Let us know if you have more questions. Hopefully this helps! - Kat (Team Member)
