Coping

I am trying to balance things out especially with my diet. I have removed red meats and pork completely out of my diet. My medication and diet is keeping things at bay. I know that I need to exercise more, I have issues with my left ankle which is quite a problem for me after having several big surgeries on it. I will be discussing trying the GLP drugs with my primary care physician at my upcoming appointment.

  1. I also had RA years before my lymphoma and I still have it after. It certainly just added insult to injury. It was not fun, and I actually had to fight the doctors to keep taking my RA meds during chemo. They even made me sign a form that basically said, "if something happens it's not our fault." Guess what? Nothing happened except my RA didn't flare up during the time I was also fighting my cancer! Just wanted you to know you are not alone! We are all just out here doing the best we can with what we have to deal with. Keep on keepin' on, DPM
