What is my outlook like on dyalisis awaiting a transplant

  1. Unfortunately, and I know this is probably not what you want to hear, but it is nearly impossible to tell what your prognosis might be simply through the Internet. I know, it stinks, but your best bet is to see your physician or, if you don't like them, find a new one, and ask them what their expertise says about your case. What we can do, though, is to give you some information on dialysis, which might be a place to start: https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/clinical/home-clinic-dialysis It does help to learn about what you are doing through and in doing that, at least for me, I've found that it helps to lessen the anxiety a little when I know what's in store. If you'd like to hook up with other community members who have gotten transplants and the like, you can check out our forums here: https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/forums/kidney-transplant It may provide some unique insight. In the meantime let us know if there's anything else we can do! Keep on keepin' on, DPM
