Hello , this is such a great question. I have several chronic illnesses, so it has been a challenge for me. But, I think I am on the right track. I eat berries, grapes, and apples are my favorite fruits. My go-to veggies are cauliflower, asparagus, onions and turnips. My husband likes to fish - so fish is a must along with eggs. I do eat carbs but in moderation. I drink lots of water and unsweetened tea. I gave up my sweets and sodas, don't know how long that will last, but I'm trying. I lost 60 pounds on this journey and was able to get off of diabetes medication. Of course, we are all different and things affect us differently. I did start by getting a dietician.
