Have You Experienced Unwanted Dreams?

I can remember way back in the day of having really bad dreams. This was over 50 years ago. The doctors would always say that I would grow out of it. Well, the dreams eventually did stop.

They have started to creep back in. They are just weird dreams, like I'm being chased by monsters, or one time I was rolling down the hill because of a car accident, or someone died, etc. They are so real.

I did speak to my healthcare team about this. They "think" it could be the side effects of medication. Has anyone else experienced a change in dreams or just their general sleep patterns? We would like to hear from you. Diane (Team Member)

  1. Does lack of sleep cause you to have bad dreams? We would like to hear from you. Diane (Team Member)

  2. I sleep a lot and never feel rested. My dreaming is as vivid as waking life. The dreams I have are always about some disaster I am trying to survive. they wake me up and it's more than a few minutes before I can reassure myself that the trouble I am in is only in a dream and not really happening. These dream situations are becoming more and more frequent. My heart will be racing, I'm soaked with sweat and my muscles are clenched and ready to fight. I can't predict this kind of occurence in advance. Sometimes I am afraid to go to sleep, lest one of these nightmares will be my experience.
