Communication Is The Key
Before myself and my family members got diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, I didn't even know if I knew where my kidneys were, or what they do to protect our bodies.
In today's world, we have the internet and support groups, patient advocates to help us out. This has helped me a lot.
Is there someone who can explain certain things to you such as test results, problems that arise, procedures, and any other possible outcomes to you?
