Common occurrence?
I was diagnosed late last year with CKD but my nephrologist says I've had it longer. My major symptom is severe flank pain. Do others also experience this? My kidneys make stones like it's going out of style and I have to have them taken out and 2-3 years. The pain isn't related to the stone forms. What's the best way to deal with the pain? I know NSAIDs are really hard on the kidneys but sadly those with the best.
Jill, what has your doctor suggested? It is difficult to say, unless a person has a group to choose from. Generally, though you are correct, NSAIDs are usually not suggested.
