What Tina Turner Taught Us About Chronic Kidney Disease?

For those of you who don't know who Tina Turner is, she was the queen of rock and roll. She just passed away recently.

This is going to be short because I want to write more about her journey later. She had high blood pressure for decades but didn't know the risk of developing CKD. Her blood pressure was never treated.

She got a kidney transplant some 25 years later. At the time of her death, she was still fighting high blood pressure.

Are you taking high blood pressure or any other medications to protect your kidneys? Are you taking it the way, your doctor prescribed it to you? How long have you had high blood pressure?

We would love to hear from you.

  1. Do you know someone who has chronic kidney disease?

    1. No I dont know anyone in the area that has this.

      1. Hello , Thanks for responding. I have several family members who have it and are on dialysis. They are doing very well with their medications. How are you managing yours? Diane (Team Member)
