I was exposed to firefighting foam and jet fuel. Could this have caused my CKD

  1. Hey , Thanks for reaching out! It's hard to say specifically what the cause of your CKD could be. Your doctor would be the best person to identify this for you. Have you mentioned this concern to them? The most common causes of CKD are "Diabetes (type 1 and type 2), high blood pressure, inflammation of the kidneys (glomerulonephritis), inherited kidney diseases like polycystic kidney disease, repeated kidney infections, kidney stones, or enlarged prostate, and other health conditions like lupus".
