Dry itchy skin
I have dialysis 3 ti.es a week and am always itchy and I feel buggy, like I'm being bitten by insects. Does anyone know how to get rid of the feeling?
Is there a certain time that you feel less itchy than others? I remember experiencing itchiness the closer I need to do dialysis. I would moisturize my skin when I felt unbearable itchiness. It was short lived but any relief time was good enough for me. Remember to consult your doctor about the itchiness if you haven't already.

was the same on dialysis but for me it was because my blood levels was to high (phosphate) and that caused the itchiness (which I got medication to lower the phosphate) If you do get the chance ask for your blood levels and maybe ask the doctor what the cause can be and if it’s safe to have a stronger dose or different medication if it’s not working? wish you all the best with this and do keep us updated on how it goes.
