I learned in June of my ckd and I was on my way out the door when the nurse said you have ckd right? And I'm like who. She said you didn't know and I'm like no one told me anything so I'm waiting on my next appointment to go from there as in seeing a kidney doctor

Oh, , my heart goes out to you. That's a lot of new information to process that must have come as such a surprise. Unfortunately, quite a few people have experienced something similar. I think many in the community would agree that medical professionals should really be telling people about their CKD earlier. When is your next appointment? I hope you'll get some more answers soon. It can be really stressful to just wait. Thinking of you, Minel (Team Member)

I surely will. I'm still figuring out the new eating habits. I haven't gotten good at that one. But I will update

, new eating habits take time! I think like most things, change doesn't happen overnight. But small steps to work yourself up are what's important. For diet in particular, it might also be worth exploring if you can see a renal dietitian. They can be a helpful resource. We'll look forward to your update 😀 Warmly, Minel (Team Member)
