Anxiety about upcoming hospital appointments
When ever I have a hospital appointment coming up anxiety always kicks in for me I think that after having my blood tests I will receive a phone call saying they have seen something in the bloods and I need to come back to hospital as this has happened on numerous occasions in the past does anyone else also have these concerns!?

its a very nerve racking situation to be in, on multiple
Occasion I’ve had the call to come back in and receive treatment for infections with my last transplant in 2012-16 was a time of long period of treatment and after one cycle of treatment.
I was so anxious and worried that my bloods would be clear and hearing your okay and bloods are looking good after a long period of treatment is one of the most weight lifting moments for sure.
With second current transplant it was another waiting for the BK virus and high protein to settle, it was a lot of blood test and trial and error with medication, it’s just always a worry moment but always can find a way to come out the other end I believe.

, I understand what you are saying. I go through this also. As I've got older I try to focus on the present. I am 65 now and I just tell myself positive affirmations. It's hard not to worry, trust me I know. One thing I have learned since "aging" is that you need to stop worrying about things you can’t control. Have you ever tried meditation?
