how it began

I went to my PCP at the time for a routine checkup. She ordered bloodwork, but by the time she caught my eGFR, I was already stage 3b. I was sent to a nephrologist, who upon reading her notes, promptly went into orbit and yanked me off the BP med I was on, which I later learned was the cause of my chronic kidney disease, diabetes, and heart failure were discovered nearly four years later, after a second bout with covid. so here I am now.
