Broken heart
I mentioned to my wife's doctor that her left foot and ankle appears to be swelling, but the doctor never said anything. Although my wife had AD, and stopped eating & drinking fluids due to the late stage, she went to heaven in about 10 days. Her death certificate indicates CKD, chronic kidney disease, and stage 3A, which might explain the ankle swelling.
Understanding this now, I would encourage others to get LAB tests to know what is going on with your & loved ones' kidneys, liver, and heart. May even affect your vision too. Blood tests can reveal a lot about your present health.
