For those who want recipes for just yourselves to be quick and easy, this honey garlic butter chicken recipe will only take you 20 minutes! You can pair it any way you want. I paired mine with with rice and salad. You could even make a sandwich out of it.

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients for honey garlic butter chicken

  • 3 tsp of honey
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbs of soy sauce
  • 1 oz chicken thigh fillets
  • 2 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp of black pepper
  • 2 tsp of unsalted butter

Directions for honey garlic butter chicken

  1. First, you will want to wash your chicken. I washed mine with lemon and vinegar.
  2. Then, salt and pepper your chicken thighs. You can also use a chicken breast if you prefer.
  3. Coat the chicken with a thin layer of cornstarch.
  4. Then pan-fry the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side.
  5. Remove and set aside.
  6. Add your 8 garlic gloves (diced), soy sauce, honey, and 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan. Simmer for about 30 seconds.
  7. Then add the chicken back in and cook on high heat for about 2 minutes on each side.
  8. Once your chicken is done cooking, plate and enjoy!
  9. You can any sides you like. I added white rice and a side salad with fresh lettuce, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes.
