High blood pressure and other confusion

I read that there are 2 types of high blood pressure. One is hypertension and the other is high blood pressure as a result of kidney disease but a kidney doctor said high blood pressure causes kidney disease. Also I'm not receiving any medical care because of severe poverty, and I do have insurance but doctors won't agree as they I need surgery on my stomach and bowel as they think it's causing kidney problems. Also I'm feeling worse and pain in kidneys etc. Its too much .I'm tired of it all and need a doctor who can help me and knows about the medical problems I have. It's scary what the health care or lack of good health care does and doesn't do or to me anyway.

  1. Hi , many people with CKD also have high blood pressure. As you mention, high blood pressure can also be a risk factor for developing kidney disease. And it is also a cause of CKD. Here's more information if you're interested: https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/clinical/high-blood-pressure.

I wish you were not in so much pain and that you were receiving the right care you need. It is terrifying, tiring, and frustrating how much health care and insurance impact care. Not sure if this is helpful, but I wanted to pass along this resource just in case: https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/clinical/financial-assistance.
