Does drinking more liquid seem to improve ckd

  1. Hi , great question! Increasing hydration can help with some people's CKD, but it can also depend on the stage. Some people in later stages are on a fluid restriction. Have you had a chance to talk with your doctor or a registered dietitian? They can help you determine how much water is advised for you to drink. 1. Im in s4 but am told to drink a ton of water or clear liqued

      1. Hello , Thanks for sharing, and an excellent question. I know my son is stage 5 with no water restriction and my father is 4 with no restriction either. I am a 3 and was told to drink plenty of water. I would talk to your healthcare team to see what they say. Let us know. We would like to hear from you. Diane (Team Member)
