Does Ckd always end with dialysis or a transplant

  1. Hi , thank you for your question. Of course, everyone's experiences will differ, but I hope some people may be able to share their experiences with you. Have you had a chance to ask your doctor? They would be able to give more personal insight for your situation. But generally, the goal of CKD management is to slow down the progression or prevent further damage. Some people may spend many years in the same stage when progression is slowed/prevented, avoiding dialysis or transplant, which is why early detection is important.
