Dialysis abroad
Hi,
I hope this is the right place to post my question as I'd be very grateful for any help I can get.
My partner of 8 years, who lives in the US, wants to visit me in the UK, but will need to continue her dialysis of course while she's here. Does anyone have any idea how to find out the cost and procedure. Does anyone have any experience of dialysis abroad and any advice and tips? Does anyone know of any resources that could help?

I'm not sure if this will help but we do have a video of one of our community members step by step getting dialysis in London. https://chronic-kidney-disease.net/video/treatment-journal It might give you some information on how to go about finding out how to get treated while you are abroad. You can also try posting in our forums if you like to see if any community members have dealt with something similar, if you can't figure that out I'd be happy to help just let us know!
