Are few cube slices of papaya and pineapple ok at breakfast? What about a slice of sourdough bread?

At breakfast I always have at least a cup mixture of different kind of berries: blueberries, strawberries, gooseberries and sometimes with raspberries and blackberries, if available, followed by a slice of toasted sourdough bread with 1 scrambled egg and plain black coffee sprinkled with cinnamon powder.

  1. Hello , these are excellent questions. A lot of us have different diet restrictions. I would talk to your healthcare professional about these. But for me, my diet restriction is salt. I eat papaya in moderation only because when I did some research it said it was high in potassium and sourdough bread is high in phosphate. I go back to my doctor in a few months and they will talk about my diet. I am a coffee drinker, but never put cinnamon in it. I will try that on my next cup. Do you have CKD?     1. , yes. I’m struggling what kind of diet and portion of everything I eat. If I stick to plant based food I feel weak from not eating sufficient protein as everything is restricted.
